Purpose

The Young Canberra Citizen of the Year Awards recognise Canberrans aged 12 to 25 who’ve made a significant contribution to the community.

Overview

The Awards seek to acknowledge and celebrate significant personal achievements of individual young people.

Nominations can be submitted in the following seven categories:

  1. Young Canberra Citizen of the Year Award;
  2. Young Achiever Award;
  3. Personal Achievement Award;
  4. Individual Community Service Award;
  5. Environment and Sustainability Award;
  6. Arts and Multimedia Award; and
  7. Group Achievement Award.

Limitations

The Awards are open to young people aged between 12 and 25 who have made a significant personal achievement in their life or a contribution to the ACT community.
