Youth Grants are to assist individuals and teams with funding to participate in events representing the District, State or the Country within South Australia or internationally. 

An annual allocation of up to 15% of the total Community Grants Program budget will be made available for the Youth Grants program.

Funding available

• An amount of $150 per person if events are held within South Australia;
• An amount of $250 per person if events are held interstate;
• An amount of $450 per person if events are held overseas.

Applications

Application made for Youth Grants should be forwarded on the Youth Grants Application Form and be received as early as possible, but no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for funding, applicants need to be:

• A resident of the Renmark Paringa Council area;
• Participating in events representing the District, State or the Country within South Australia, Australia or internationally, for example:
  • Sport and recreation 
  • Performing arts – e.g. dance, theatre, drama 
  • Visual arts
  • Debating, Youth Parliament 
  • Culture and heritage 
  • Music 
  • Environment
• Aged 24 years or under at the time of the event.
• Eligible applicants can apply and receive a maximum of 6 youth sponsorship approvals per financial year.
