Purpose
Responsive Grants provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations to apply for small amounts of funding throughout the year.
Overview
There are three categories belonging to the Responsive Grants program
- Individual Participation Grants
- Up to $500 funding per application
- support Moonee Valley residents experiencing financial hardship in their recreational, cultural, artistic and learning pursuits.
- Community Support Grants
- Up to $1,000 funding per application
- helps community groups to get established and/or deliver small projects across Moonee Valley that are aligned to one or more of the themes identified in Council's MV2040 Vision.
- Business Support Grants
- Up to $500 funding per application
- assist our local businesses with projects that will benefit the wider community, encourage local patronage and support collaboration between local businesses.
- applicants must demonstrate a co-contribution to the total cost of the grant project.
Monthly rounds closing on the first day of each month. Applications are assessed approximately 3 weeks after the close of each round.
Limitations
Who is eligible to receive an Individual Participation grant?
Residents of Moonee Valley who are experiencing financial hardship. Multiple members of the same family. Evidence of financial hardship must be supplied for each family member.
Who is eligible to apply for a Community Support Grant?
Not-for-profit community groups and organisations that are: Incorporated community groups (unless you are establishing a new community group) or community groups that are supported by an auspice. Based in and/ or delivering services in the Moonee Valley municipality.
Who is eligible to apply for a Business Support grant? The following entities with an Australian Business Number (ABN), located and operating in the Moonee Valley municipality: Business and Sole Traders with less than 50 equivalent full-time staff. Trader Associations. Social Enterprises (as defined by Social Traders).
