This grants program supports priority communities facing urgent or immediate need. It funds projects that reduce barriers and improve access to opportunities, services and programs.

Funding will prioritise projects for:

• emergency support for community, cultural and sustainability projects
• resilience and readiness of communities to respond to shocks
• local residents and teams representing the local area in sporting, academic or environmental fields.

Cash funding up to $5,000 is available for each project.

Funding can be used for capital expenditure.

Organisations can also request value-in-kind support for indoor venue hire as part of the grant application.

To be eligible, an applicant must operate within the City of Sydney's local government area or be able to demonstrate significant benefits for the area's residents, workers and/or visitors. These individuals and organisations can apply,

• Eligible Not For Profit Organisation
• Incorporated Association
• Partnership
• Sole Trader
• Individual
• Unincorporated Community Group auspiced by an Eligible Not For Profit Organisation
