Purpose
To support activities which contribute to an active, inclusive, connected and empowered community.
Overview
Cash grants towards eligible activities up to $2000.
Eligible activities:
- Equipment
- Education and training for volunteers and community
- Establishing new activities.
You may apply for more than one grant/year across the Community and Environment streams, but funding is capped at a combined maximum of $4000/organisation/financial year. Auspicing organisations are subject to the same caps.
Eligibility
Applicants seeking funding must demonstrate that they are either:
- An incorporated not-for-profit (NFP) organisation
- An incorporated NFP organisation may auspice an unincorporated group if they accept all responsibility for the expenditure of funding.
- An incorporated NFP organisation must be based within the TRC region or be able to demonstrate how the proposed activity will directly benefit the TRC region.
- A Parent and Citizens or Parent and Friends Committee operating within the TRC region may apply for the community or environment categories.
