Purpose
TRC Environment Grants support activities which contribute to a valued, managed and healthy environment.
Overview
Cash grants towards eligible activities up to $2000.
Applicants must demonstrate how the activity aligns to the desired outcomes in the Tablelands 2030+ Community Plan:
- Regeneration activities
- Climate mitigation and adaptation actions
- Capacity building, education and awareness regarding sustainability and environment management
- Tree stock for plantings
Applications can be made all year round or until the grant budget is expended for the financial year.
Limitations
The following eligibility criteria applies to the TRC Grant Program:
- Not for profit organisations/individuals applying for a grant must be based/live in the TRC local government area. (except Economy Grant)
- The program or activity must benefit the TRC community and region.
- Organisations must be incorporated not-for-profit, unless applying for the Economy, Youth Achievement, or Art, Culture and Heritage grants.
- Hold appropriate public liability insurance to the value of $20M.
- Applicants must have acquitted and met any conditions of previous TRC funding.
- All applicants must submit on time using the online application.
- Recipient of the environmental grant must not be the private landholder of the proposed site, and the work being completed (which may be on either private or public land) must be undertaken for a demonstrated community benefit.
