Community grants aimed at supporting community groups with small capital projects, events, projects etc.

Small Grants- for applications - up to $5000, Supporting volunteer activities and small community initiatives.

Community Grants - for applications from - $5000 to $10,000, Supporting small projects, events, and community activities.

Community groups strongly are encouraged to discuss their project ideas with the Community and Economic Development Manager, Stuart Drummond, on 9827 1007 or via email at stuart.drummond@gnowangerup.wa.gov.au before applying.

Base Eligibility (Applies to All Applications):

• Applicants must be a not-for-profit incorporated organisation, or a community group auspiced by an incorporated organisation.
• Applicants must be based in the Shire of Gnowangerup or clearly benefit Shire residents.
• Applicants must hold (or be willing to obtain prior to project commencement) $20 million public liability insurance.
• Applicants must have no outstanding grant acquittals or debts to the Shire.
