Bass Coast Shire Council offers grants of up to $100 to help celebrate and recognise the valuable contributions of your volunteers.

National Volunteer Week highlights the vital role of volunteers and encouraging more people to get involved. Whether it's putting on a morning tea, hosting a BBQ, gifting a plant, shouting a coffee, or boosting an existing event on Facebook - it's up to you.

By submitting this application, you confirm your commitment to

• Plan and organise an event to acknowledge/recognise your volunteers.
• Cover any event costs that exceed the amount of grant funding awarded.
• Keep all receipts for any expenses paid using the grant funding.

Bass Coast Shire Council will:

• ensure funding is paid in a timely manner
• share promotion of your event
• attend your event/s where invited and possible.

If your group is not a not-for-profit Incorporated group, you are not eligible to apply. However, we may be able to connect you with an eligible group to share an event. To discuss this option, please call Shirley Egan, Community Strengthening and Grants Officer, on 0435 205 816.
