City of Burnside provides financial or in-kind sponsorship for initiatives that will deliver tangible benefits to Council and the community, and help make Burnside a great place to live, work and play.

Council seeking to support events that align with the following key goals.

• Community
• Environment
• Place

Eligible applicants have the option of applying for one or all of the following types of funding or support. The event can be a unique once off event such as a cultural festival, or a multi-year ongoing event. Council will consider sponsoring events for up to three years. This will be discussed and decided on a case-by-case basis.

• Financial Cash Sponsorship of up to $5,000
• In-Kind Venue Hire Support
• In-Kind Support Services

Event sponsorship applications are accepted year-round; however, funding is only confirmed in the financial year in which the event takes place.

Eligibility:

Applications are invited from:

• Registered businesses (including Individuals and Sole Traders)
• Incorporated and unincorporated not-for-profit organisations and community groups.
• Groups planning an event within the City of Burnside Local Government Area.
