Purpose

To provide funding for organisations to deliver projects that improve community infrastructure and services in the Summerland Point, Gwandalan, Chain Valley Bay and Mannering Park communities. 

Overview

The Chain Valley Colliery Funding program has been established as a joint initiative between Delta Coal (formerly Lake Coal Pty Ltd), Central Coast Council and the Communities of Summerland Point, Gwandalan, Chain Valley Bay and Mannering Park to provide funding for not-for-profit organisation to deliver projects that improve community infrastructure and services.

Available funding

Applicants can apply for up to $30,000.00 annually per project. 

Limitations

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be a legally constituted not-for-profit organisation or be auspiced by a legally constituted not-for-profit organsiation.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate that the project will benefit residents of the Summerland Point, Gwandalan, Chain Valley Bay or Mannering Park communities.
  • All applicants must meet the grant program eligibility criteria and address one or more of the program outcomes.
  • Only one application per project, per financial year, may be successful in obtaining funding across any of Council’s grant funding programs.
  • Central Coast based community run emergency services entities that are part of Government Department and agencies such as RFS, SES and VRA.
  • Applicants must provide all required documentation as detailed in section six (6) of the Chain Valley Colliery Community Funding Program.
