Purpose
Grants are available for members of Council’s Voluntary Conservation Programs, including Voluntary Conservation Agreements, Land for Wildlife or Backyards for Wildlife.
Overview
The grants assist landholders in completing environmental projects on their properties. These projects aim to protect and enhance native vegetation and wildlife habitat.
Individual grants are available up to a maximum of:
- $2,500 per Voluntary Conservation Agreement property;
- $1250 for a Land for Wildlife; or
- $500 for a Backyards for Wildlife.
Limitations
Landholders who are current members of Moreton Bay Regional Council’s Voluntary Conservation Programs are eligible to apply. This includes members of Land for Wildlife (LFW), Backyards for Wildlife (BFW) Voluntary Conservation Agreements (VCA).
