Purpose
The Community Assistance Partnership Fund provides support for Murray not-for-profit organisations to develop projects.
Overview
The program funds projects that:
- Build and strengthen organisational capacity or sustainability
- Foster community engagement, social inclusion and participation in community life
- Encourage participation in arts and culture
- Activate places and facilities
- Protect the environment
- Create safe and healthy communities.
Applications are invited two times each financial year with a maximum grant allocation of $3,000 (plus GST), per group per annum. It is a condition of the Community Assistance Partnership Fund that applicants contact a member of the Community Development Team to discuss their project prior to submitting an application.
Limitations
Applicants must:
- Be an incorporated not for profit organisation or auspice by one
- Hold current public liability insurance;
- Have no outstanding monies from any Shire of Murray funding program;
- Clearly demonstrate community benefit and/or need and alignment with guideline objectives
- Include a realistic, clear and comprehensive budget including a proposed timeline for completion
- Copy of groups meeting minutes supporting the project and application.
