Purpose
A sponsorship is an arrangement with Community Bank Gisborne & District to support an event, activity, individual or organisation through the provision of money, goods or services.
Overview
The community sponsorship program facilitates mutually beneficial partnerships with eligible organisations in our community. Some examples include local sporting clubs, festivals and events.
Applicants for funding over $5,000 are invited to contact our Community Engagement & Marketing Officer, Liz O'Connell, at community@mrce.com.au to discuss your application before submission.
Community Bank Gisborne and district's vision is a connected, vibrant, sustainable and caring Macedon Ranges community for all who live, work and play here. Community and not-for-profit organisations can apply for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for the community and align with our 3 Key Impact Pillars:

Limitations
Supported initiatives must take place in and/or clearly benefit the residents of Gisborne and surrounds, defined as postcode 3437, 3431, 3438, 3440, 3441 and 3442.

- conflict with our organisation's values and objectives
- break any laws
- attempt to claim retrospective funding - paying for costs already incurred
- Involve gambling
- denigrate, exclude or offend any part of the community
- encourage violence or involve the use of weapons
- mistreat, exploit or harm animals
- create environmental hazards
- present a danger to public health or safety
- take place solely outside Australia
- contribute to modern slavery.
