Each year, the Foundation distributes approximately $1 million in grant funding to eligible charities that assist communities across Greater's footprint all the way from the Illawarra to the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.

This program is by invitation only.

The Foundation is a Private Ancillary Fund and provides grants to eligible Australian Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) charities.

They partner with charities delivering innovative and scalable initiatives to improve outcomes for communities in need in the following areas:

• Environment
• Financial wellbeing

Multi-Year Partnerships are designed for large impact projects, with the funding provided over a period of two to three years. 

Please Note:  Greater Charitable Foundation approach and invite eligible charitable organisations that align with our funding principles and areas of impact to apply for Multi-Year Partnerships.

If you're an eligible charity and would like to introduce your work to the Foundation, you're welcome to get in touch by email.  When reaching out, it's helpful to include your organisation's ABN, along with a brief overview of your purpose, location, and the impact you're making in your community.

Eligibility

To be eligible to receive any grant from our Foundation, your charity must:

• Deliver the initiative/s within our funding footprint
• Be registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) or Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC).
• Be registered and endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office for:
• Tax Concession Charity (TCC) status
• Deductible Gift Recipient status covered under Item 1 (DGR1)
