Financial assistance for low-income households in the Dolphin Sands area whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the December 2025 bushfire emergency.

The Tasmanian Government is providing financial assistance to low-income households in the Dolphin Sands area whose principal place of residence was damaged or destroyed in the December 2025 bushfire emergency.

Support may include:

• Temporary Living Expenses
• Replacement of Household Items
• Repair and Restoration of the home

Each grant provides up to $11,650 per household.

Applicants may receive one, two, or all three grants, depending on eligibility.

Types of assistance available:

• Temporary Living Expenses - Temporary accommodation when the home is uninhabitable or inaccessible
• Replacement of Household Items - Essential household items destroyed or damaged
• Repair and Restoration - Repairs needed to restore home to a basic, liveable standard.

You may be eligible if you meet all of the following:

• You can provide proof of identity.
• Your main home is in the eligible location.
• You meet income and asset limits.
• You have no or inadequate insurance.
• Your home is damaged or destroyed and uninhabitable.
