CleanCo’s Community Futures Fund program is intended to support community initiatives and events operating in the communities which host their generation assets.

CleanCo's Community Futures Fund supports community initiatives and events operating in the communities which host our generation assets. The initiative or event must be located within one of the following local government areas:

• Cairns
• Cassowary Coast
• Tablelands
• Mareeba
• Ipswich
• Somerset.

CleanCo will consider applications from organisations based outside of a host community or region, provided their initiative or event is held in one of the localities identified above, or delivers direct benefits to those communities. Applicants may request up to a maximum of $5,000 per grant round.

To be eligible for a CleanCo Community Futures Fund sponsorship or donation, the initiative or event must fall under one of the following categories and be planned to take place within 12 months:

• Not-for-profit organisation or event
• Community services (eg. daycare, recreational groups, sporting clubs, arts and culture)
• First Nations initiatives
• Educational institutes
• Environmental associations.
