Purpose

Funding for community capacity and capability building, research and design and low-cost street interventions.

Overview

Stream 1 offers grants of up to $10,000 for eligible community groups and local governments in all towns and neighbourhoods across WA.  The Stream 1 applications are open once per year.

Street Alive Objectives include:

  • Building local capability and capacity
  • Changing attitudes and behaviours through citizen-led actions
  • Enhancing the street environment
  • Trialing a collaborative model

Limitations

What organisations are eligible?

  • a Not for Profit entity
  • a Local Government Authority
  • Unincorporated community groups based in WA may apply if they are auspiced by a registered non-profit organisation

Individuals, Sole-Traders, For-profit organisations, Schools and State Government agencies are not eligible to apply.
