The Community Grants Program supports community organisations wishing to present quality, innovative Shire-based activities, which enhance the social, cultural, environmental and economic development of our community. 

The aim of the program is to provide financial assistance to community groups operating in the Corangamite Shire for:

• Community projects, activities, or events
• Development of new community, leisure, cultural or recreational programs
• Workshops, planning activities (e.g. business or project plan)
• Purchase of equipment

Funding of up to $2,000 is available. There is no requirement for in-kind or matching funding.

Applications are accepted from:

• 1. Incorporated, not-for-profit organisations.
• 2. Applicants may only submit one application per Community Grant round.

Auspicing

• 1. Unincorporated not-for-profit organisations may be auspiced by an incorporated association.
• 2. An auspicing organisation will not be counted as an applicant when applying on behalf of an unincorporated body.
• 3. An auspicing body may not apply on behalf ofgroups which are sub-groups or project groups for projects or activities conducted by that auspicing body.
