The Berrybank Wind Farm Project Grants Program provides financial assistance to local community groups and individuals who support local community projects that operate within 75 kilometres of the Berrybank Wind Farm.

These grants can include community, environment, facilities, events or other beneficial projects. Applicants may apply for annual funding over two consecutive years to fund a larger project.

• Funding is available to community groups and individuals acting on behalf of their community
• Funding of up to $10,000 is available to community groups in Corangamite Shire.
• Funding is available to projects located within 75 kilometres of the Berrybank Wind Farm.

The program is open to local community groups operating in the Corangamite Shire as well as individuals acting on behalf of their community. These include but are not limited to:

• Incorporated community associations
• Sporting clubs and recreation groups
• Environment groups
• Schools (where the project is not one that the education system would normally fund)
• Religious and charitable groups (provided that projects and their outcomes are open to the participation of all). 
• Individuals acting on behalf of their community 
• Other community-based organisations deemed eligible
