Purpose
Non-profit organisations (NPO) whose assets have been significantly damaged as a direct result of an eligible disaster can apply to access the grant.
Overview
You can apply for a grant of up to $10,000 to repair or replace an asset that:
- that was controlled by the entity prior to the eligible event; and
- that was significantly damaged as a direct result of the eligible event; and
- the applicant has no reasonable prospect of obtaining commercial finance; and
- the applicant has used any available insurance or self-insurance fund prior to seeking assistance.

If you're a not-for-profit organisation impacted by severe weather and floods in the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of:
- Katherine,
- Coomalie,
- Litchfield,
- Roper Gulf,
- Victoria Daly,
- West Daly,
- West Arnhem,
- Belyuen,
- Wagait and
- Unincorporated Areas of Greater Darwin, Cox-Daly, Marrakai-Douglas Daly.
This assistance is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Northern Territory governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
