Purpose

The Environmental Management Fund (EMF) Grant Program is a funding stream endorsed by Council, to fund projects which achieve local environmental and sustainability outcomes.

Overview

Applications for 2026-27 Environmental Management Fund Grants are now open for projects undertaken between 1 July 2026 - 30 June 2027.

Grants of up to $40,000 (ex GST) cover the following themes:

Biodiversity protection
Waterway health
Coastal management and protection
Sustainability
Environmental education

Limitations

Eligibility:

Individuals, community groups and not-for-profit associations can apply.
