Purpose
The NT Tourism Business Restart Fund supports the replacement or repair of damaged physical and operational equipment as a result of recent severe weather events.
Overview
The Northern Territory has been significantly impacted by severe weather events in the lead up to the 2026 tourism seasons including, but not limited to:
- Central Australia and Barkly region floods - February 2026
- Big Rivers Flood Events (21U) - February 2026
- Tropical Cyclone Narelle - March 2026
The NT Tourism Business Restart Fund will provide a one-off payment of $5,000 (exc GST) to support the replacement or repair of damaged physical and operational equipment as a result of recent severe weather events.
Limitations
- Operating as a primary tourism, hospitality or events business with the principal place of business
Active ATDW listing (active within the past 3 months)
Evidence of impact due to identified weather events (photo)
