Purpose
Edward River Council’s Community Grants Program provides grants for projects, equipment, events, exhibitions, or performances which contribute positively to the Edward River community cultural needs and aspirations.
Overview
Edward River Council’s Community Grants Program provides grants up to $3,000.
The projects they support promote:
- Bringing people and community organisations together.
- Celebrating a sense of identity, diversity and cultural connection within the community.
- Improving community health and social wellbeing.
- Helping people to develop the skills and confidence to contribute to community life.
- Enhancing places where communities gather.
- Increasing access and inclusion for people who are vulnerable or disadvantaged
Eligibility
Applicant eligibility requirements include:
- Not-for-profit community organisations, groups and associations.
- Incorporated organisations with an ABN or proof that you are not required to be registered for GST.
- Be based in Edward River Council LGA or have significant benefit for ERC residents.
- Have no outstanding grant acquittals or outstanding debts owing to council.
- Only submit one application per funding round.
- Have adequate public liability insurance and appropriate health and safety policies in accordance with the funding agreement.
