Purpose
To enhance the social and built environments place-based contributing to making the local townships vibrant.
Overview
Placemaking Grants Program Priorities
- Creates opportunities for community engagement and social connections contributing to vibrant townships.
- Contributes to vibrant communities fostering social inclusion and connections, community cohesion and participation.
- Minor community capital projects that improve amenities/facilities and/or the natural environment.
- Provides opportunities for new activities and initiatives in public places.
Funding up to $15,000 per application is available to not-for-profit community groups and organisations who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility
Grant funding is subject to the general eligibility and ineligibility outlined in the guidelines and the specific grant program's priorities. Annual Community Events should apply to Community Events Grants including Christmas events/carols. Christmas decorations refer Flexi Grants.
