Purpose

The small grants offer supports to social enterprises, not-for-profit community groups, organisations and businesses to undertake activities that have a broad community benefit.

Overview

Applicants are encouraged to develop initiatives aligned with our community vision, Whittlesea 2040: A place for all, and must demonstrate alignment with one or more of the following goals.

  • Connected community
  • Liveable neighbourhoods
  • Strong local economy
  • Sustainable environment
  • High performing organisation

In your application, you will be required to select at least one 2040 Goal and how you would meet the targeted outcome to deliver initiatives that drive better community outcomes.

Eligibility

Applicants must be one of the following:

  • a registered not-for-profit organisation (as classified by the ATO)
  • an incorporated group (with a valid incorporation number)
  • a social enterprise or business
  • a school, university, or educational institution.
