Charitable and Not-for-profit Organisations can apply for projects and activities that offer clear public benefit for the community, contributing to its development in building social capital, community welfare, environmental, health, education or cultural areas.

Apply for projects and activities which demonstrate broad community benefit to the Nathalia District including but not limited to :

• Families, children & youth activities
• Public capacity building pro-health, safety programs and services
• Community infrastructure projects
• Public education, schooling and Libraries
• Innovative community events and services
• Cultural and art initiatives
• Environmental projects
• *Sporting and recreational projects

*Support for sports club events, uniforms & equipment are not eligible through the grant program however updates to community amenities may be eligible. You will need to demonstrate use of the amenities by other Not for profit non-sporting groups through letters of support attesting to how they will benefit from the project and frequence of use. Please speak to Peter Halden or Tracey Mark about your project.

Funding:  A total of $30,000 is available in this grant round. 

You must:

• be an incorporated community or not-for-profit organisation with a valid ABN (that's not a government ABN) or have project partner that meets these criteria
• A project partner is an incorporated community or not-for profit organisation that is willing to enter into the funding agreement on your behalf and help you to deliver the project
• have a valid Australian bank account, preferably with Community Bank Numurkah

Who is ineligible?

• individuals or unincorporated organisations without an eligible project partner
• for-profit organisations
• applicant organisations (or partner organisations) with an unsatisfactory result to the Anti Money Laundering / Know Your Customer search.
