Purpose

Bell Bay Aluminium runs an annual grant program, offering assistance to community groups and organisations across Tasmania.

Overview

The Community Grants Program focuses investment across key areas informed by socioeconomic data and community plans that align with BBA's values and objectives.

Grants up to a maximum value of $3,000 each are available.

Applicants select from focus areas that most closely align with their organisation's project, purpose, values, objectives and ethos, explaining how they meet each eligibility criteria. Applicants may select as many focus areas as are relevant from:

  • Education
  • Environment
  • Inclusion & Diversity
  • Culture & Heritage
  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Economic

Eligibility

The applicant organisation and the project must be based in Tasmania, align with BBA’s values and objectives and align with one or more of the key funding focus areas.

Organisations must have an ABN. If your organisation does not have an ABN, please supply the details of the organisation that will auspice your application.

Consideration will be given to:

  • Not-for-profits
  • Charities
  • Sporting clubs
  • Community service organisations
  • Cultural groups

Funding will not be provided to:

  • Individuals
  • Commercial or private business
  • Pursuits that financially benefit an individual or group of individuals 
  • Political groups or projects that benefit a political party 
  • Fundraising campaigns or appeals
  • Ongoing labour costs rather than for a defined project
