Purpose

The Community Bank Bright Branch is celebrating its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of commitment, contribution, and support for the community.

Overview

To commemorate this significant milestone, a $20,000 grant funding pool has been established in Q1 to support eligible community projects. Applicants may apply for grants of up to $10,000.

To guide investment towards this outcome, the following priority areas of focus have been identified:

  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Liveability
  • Economic Impact
  • Culture
  • Inclusion

Get along to the 20th Anniversary celebration marquee at the 2026 Bright Twilight Tastings event on October 15 between 5pm and 7pm with as many of your members, supporters, friends and family as you can.

Each attendee receives one token to cast their vote for their preferred community project.

Post event, tokens will be tallied and the $20,000 funding pool will be distributed proportionally to shortlisted projects according to the community's vote.

Eligibility

You must:

  • be an incorporated community or not-for-profit organisation
  • have a project partner if you are not an incorporated organisation. A project partner is an incorporated community or not-for profit organisation that is willing to enter into the funding agreement on your behalf and help you to deliver the project
  • be located within Bright, Harrietville, Myrtleford, Porepunkah, Wandiligong or surrounding areas between these locations or have a project partner within these locations.
