Purpose
Grants are paid to an organisation to address a social issue within the community.
Overview
This community grants program is administered by the Community Bank Ballan & District together with the support of the Community Enterprise Foundation (CEF), the philanthropic arm of the Bendigo and Adelaide bank.
Your community and not-for-profit organisation can apply for funding to support projects that offer clear community benefit, contributing to social outcomes, community welfare, environmental, health, education, or cultural areas.
Applications are invited for projects which demonstrate broad community benefit to Ballan and District including but not limited to:
- Families, children & youth activities
- Public capacity building pro-health, safety programs and services
- Community infrastructure projects
- Public education, schooling and Libraries
- Innovative community events and services
- Cultural and art initiatives
- Environmental projects
- *Sporting and recreational projects
*Support for sports club events, uniforms & equipment should be applied for under a sponsorship however projects such as updates to amenities / facilities may be eligible as a grant please speak to Michelle Baker or the CEF Team
Eligibility
You must:
- be an incorporated community or not-for-profit organisation with a valid ABN that is not a government ABN.
- have a project partner if you are not an incorporated organisation or have a government abn. A project partner is an incorporated community or not-for profit organisation that is willing to enter into the funding agreement on your behalf and help you to deliver the project. - have a valid Australian bank account
