The program supports not-for-profit organisations and wildlife carers working towards protecting and maintaining the natural environment within the Ipswich LGA.

The Enviroplan Levy Community Funding Program supports projects that:

• increase community understanding of the value of the natural environment and local environmental issues and impacts
• increase community action that benefits the natural environment
• improve the condition of bushland or the conservation of native flora and fauna on private or public land.

Available funding includes:

• NFP Community Groups - $3,000.00
• Schools or Childcare Centres – $3,000.00
• Wildlife Carers –$1,500.00

Funding is available to not-for profit community groups, schools, childcare centres or registered wildlife carers. Organisations, groups and wildlife carers must outline how the proposed initiative will provide a benefit to the environment and improve biodiversity. Recipients must be able to carry out and complete the requested project within 12 months of the funding approval date.
