Purpose
The Community Grants Program supports not for profit community groups or organisations, located in the Northern Rivers, that strengthen and enhance our regional communities.
Overview
The 2026 Annual Community Grants Round will have two streams:
- Local Impact Grants: Up to $15,000 to support organisations to deliver activities, events, programs and services that support positive social and environmental change in the Northern Rivers, or build the capacity of organisations to deliver outcomes (e.g. staff training, project management support)
- Community Infrastructure Fund: Up to $15,000 to support organisations to purchase assets and other infrastructure to enable more connected and inclusive regional communities.
Eligibility
The following organisations are eligible to apply for a grant from NRCF:
- Charities and Not for Profit Organisations
- Incorporated Associations
- Indigenous Corporations
- Crown Land Managers (including Community Halls and Commons)
- Unincorporated Entities
- In some cases, local branches of an organisation incorporated under a stand-alone act of Parliament (such as Scouts, CWA or Regional Development Australia)
