The Upper Lachlan Foundation is a philanthropic foundation whose purpose is to improve the social capacity of the communities of the Upper Lachlan by providing a secure platform and income stream for local community, health, sporting, educational, environment, religious and other groups, associations and bodies.

Overview

The Open Grants round assists not-for-profit organisations in the Upper Lachlan Shire to execute projects or purchase equipment for the benefit of the local community, or to assist organisations to achieve their mission.

This program is funded through the annual income earned from the ULF Open Fund held with the GreaterGood. As this fund continues to grow due to our generous benefactors, so does the amount of funding we have available to distribute.

This program supports not-for-profit organisations in the Upper Lachlan Shire, helping:

  • Equipment for local community benefit
  • Expenses that build the community organisations' capacity to achieve their mission
  • Training or compliance obligations for organisations to achieve their mission

Up to $1,000 per successful organisation may be available.
