Purpose
Exceptional Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants are available to assist directly impacted primary producers, small businesses and non profit organisations with the costs of clean-up and reinstatement.
Overview
Please note that the 'Queensland Monsoon Trough, Cyclone Koji, Cyclone Narelle and Severe Weather, 24 December 2025 - 24 April 2026' event applies to all activated severe weather and flooding disaster events in Queensland between 24 December 2025 and 24 April 2026.
Please refer to the Queensland Reconstruction Authority's activation summary for full details of eligible Local Government Areas.
Applicants need to show they are eligible, within the declared disaster area and demonstrate they have suffered direct impact from the disaster. Refer to guidelines for more information.
Funding is available to:
- Primary producer - up to $75,000
- Small business - up to $50,000
- Non-profit organisation - up to $50,000.
