Purpose
The Community Grants Program includes two streams - Quick Response Grants and Competitive Grants. The two streams make it easier for applicants to choose the level of support that best suits their idea - from smaller, time-sensitive initiatives to larger projects with broader community benefit.
Overview
The Competitive Grants Round provide funding from $1,000 to $10,000 for larger projects, events or initiatives that deliver broader community benefit and align with the City's strategic outcomes.
Examples could include community festivals, environmental projects, arts and cultural initiatives, inclusive community programs, activation projects, or larger activities that bring people together and create lasting local benefit.
Eligibility
- Not-for-profit organisations and community groups, both incorporated and nonincorporated (Note: unincorporated groups must be auspiced for applications over $1,000).
- For-profit organisations and businesses* Artists
- Individuals (for applicants under 18, applications must be submitted by a parent or a legal guardian).
