The NT Clean Energy VET Accelerator Fund aims to strengthen the capability of Northern Territory training organisations to deliver clean energy and related vocational education and training aligned with emerging workforce needs.

The fund supports capability-building activities that enable training organisations to expand scope, develop or update training resources, strengthen trainer and assessor capability and improve delivery readiness for clean energy, energy efficiency, advanced manufacturing, sustainable construction and related industries.

The Department will establish funding agreements with successful applicants. Funding amounts and payment arrangements will be determined through assessment and contracting processes.

Payments will be made in instalments against agreed milestones and evidence requirements. These may include commencement of approved activities, completion of scope expansion activities, curriculum or resource development milestones, trainer professional development, milestone reporting, and final acquittal and completion reporting.

Funding is available to organisations only.

Types of organisations that are eligible for funding include

• Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) registered and operating within Australia.
• RTOs registered and operating within the NT.
• RTOs that have, or can obtain, the required scope of registration.
• RTOs that can demonstrate organisational and financial capability.
• RTOs that maintain an acceptable compliance standing.
• RTOs that can meet program reporting requirements.
• RTOs that can demonstrate industry support and engagement.
• RTOs that can deliver the proposed program outcomes within the required timeframe.
