Purpose
The Lord Mayor's Community Celebration Donation helps community groups to cover the cost of social activities such as outings and Christmas parties.
Overview
Projects include:
- social outings, excursions and bus trips that bring community members together and encourage connection
- celebrations, such as Christmas parties and other community gatherings, that strengthen community connection.
Eligibility
Apply if you:
- are a club or group providing activities for Brisbane residents
- are a community group that is part of another organisation.
You must:
- have a regular meeting location within the Brisbane Local Government Area
- have a current operational bank account in the name of your community group. Donation payments cannot be made to individuals or businesses.
You can't:
- apply for a donation if you have already applied under the Seniors Celebration Donation program
- apply for activities that have already occured.
