Purpose
Good software usually sits behind budgets that for-purpose organisations do not have. The Next World Grant changes that for one of them, every year.
Overview
Ecodia builds one Australian for-purpose organisation the custom software it needs and could never afford, free, and hosts and supports it for three years. This is a non-cash grant. The prize is a custom software build, a website, app, member portal, donor system or campaign tool, whatever the winner most needs.
You bring the idea, they build it with you across 2027 on our platform, with an AI assistant built in for your team. Open to any Australian charity, not-for-profit or social enterprise with an ABN and a genuine social or environmental mission.
No DGR status or charity registration required. One entry per organisation.
Value: up to $25,000 of custom software built free, plus three years of hosting and support. A comparable commercial build is quoted at $150,000 or more.
Eligibility
Any Australian not-for-profit, charity or social enterprise with an ABN and a genuine mission. You do not need DGR status or charity registration. Existing Ecodia clients are not eligible, so the selection stays fair. One entry per organisation, and applications close 30 September 2026.
