Purpose
This program supports eligible families with school-aged children to participate in sport, recreational, creative or cultural activities.
Overview
Parents, guardians and carers receiving Family Tax Benefit can apply for an Active and Creative Kids voucher for each eligible child.
The $50 voucher is available twice a year to use towards sport, creative and cultural activities.
Voucher 2 - 2025: Available now
- Apply for and use the voucher by 14 July 2026
Voucher 1 - 2026: Available now
- Apply for and use the voucher by 31 December 2026
Limitations
To be eligible for the voucher, a child must be:
- under the care of a parent, guardian or carer receiving:
- Family Tax Benefit Part A
- Family Tax Benefit Part B
- both Family Tax Benefit Part A and Family Tax Benefit Part B
- a NSW resident
- aged between 4.5 and 18 years.
If you have more than one eligible child, you can apply for them in the same application.
Only one person can apply for the vouchers for a child.
