Purpose

The Prize is intended to epitomize and encourage the professional values, teaching and practice of Ian M Campbell (1941-1987). The Prize seeks to promote and encourage excellence in clinical psychology and to reward and encourage psychologists as ‘scientist-practitioners’, for their contribution in research, therapy and / or social applicability.

Overview

The Prize is awarded annually to an APS member who has made an outstanding contribution to the scientific or professional status of clinical psychology in Australia.

Successful candidates for the Ian M Campbell Prize will:

  • receive an award of $2500;
  • be formally presented with a plaque
  • receive complimentary membership of the College for the next subscription year

The Nominees must hold the grade of Fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists
