Purpose
The Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards is an annual program that aims to recognise excellence in the export of goods and services by Queensland business. The Awards acknowledge the important contribution of businesses to the economy through job creation and increased prosperity for the community and for the state.

Limitations
To be eligible to apply, a business must:
- be registered in Australia with an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
- operate as a separate business if part of a larger organisation
- operate legally in Australia and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- maintain appropriate business ethics and demonstrate a commitment to legal obligations including anti-bribery laws and laws to combat modern slavery, both in Australia and overseas markets.
- hold all relevant insurances, such as public liability and workers compensation, and be compliant with Australian tax obligations
