Calling all budding artists! The Active School Travel ART-AST competition is back for 2025.

Enter for your chance to win a $200 Smiggle gift card (terms and conditions apply).

Students must create a two-dimensional artwork piece presented on the template provided on the funder website - landscape A3 surface highlighting the key messages and themes of "safe and active travel". For example, the artwork could highlight how active travel can promote behaviour change and encourage students to reduce car travel by choosing to walk, ride, carpool or use public transport as an alternative.

There are three categories:

• Junior: Prep and Year 1 students
• Intermediate: Year 2 and Year 3 students
• Senior: Year 4 to Year 6 students

Entry is only open to students enrolled at primary schools within the City of Gold Coast Local Government area (“Eligible Schools”). Entries can only be submitted by a single person.
