Overview
The 2025 round of the ADTF offers two Funding Streams tailored to support welfare outcomes for veterans in Queensland: a non-competitive stream designed for smaller organisations who make a difference in their local communities, and a merit-based competitive stream for organisations with the capacity to initiate broader, more extensive assistance programs. Both streams are focused on nurturing solutions and services that enhance the welfare and quality of life for veterans and/or their dependents and families and addressing their unique needs.
- Stream A
- smaller organisations can apply for grants of up to $10,000 for the reimbursement of eligible expenditure incurred during the 2023-24 financial year. Only organisations with an annual income of less than $180,000 can apply for Stream A funding, this round closed on June 9, 2025.
- Stream B
- will provide grants of up to $100,000 per organisation to fund specific future expenses. Applicants will need to provide details of how the funding will be spent and explain how the use of the funding will provide improved welfare outcomes with impact for the veteran community. Stream B is now open to eligible organisations of any size.
Limitations
The organisation must:
- Provide specific services to veterans and/or their dependents and families.
- Operate on a not-for-profit basis.
- Be financially solvent.
- Operate in Queensland or provide support services to members who live in Queensland.
