Purpose
The Community Project Funding aims to provide local organisations and charities with the financial support they need to expand their reach and deepen their impact.
Overview
Is your organisation making a positive difference towards women's mental health in Australia? Or working towards building programs and support services that increase positive mental health outcomes for women? If so, Women's Mental Health Australia would love to hear what you're up to and how WMHA funding can be used to grow your impact!
Two (2) Community Projects to the value of $50,000 will be awarded - One Project in each priority area. All submissions must meet all three core criteria and address at least one of the priority funding areas listed below.
Priority Funding Areas:
- Women's Physical Health Conditions
- Women in Key Life Stages and Transitions
Funding Core Criteria:
- Impact - Genuine and clear impact shown to improve/support women's mental health in Australia.
- Reportability - The outcome achieved should be succinctly reported and easily communicated to the wider community.
- Awareness & reach - The project has the potential to reach wider networks to promote the outcome achieved to bring further awareness around women's mental health.
Limitations
Application Requirements:
- The organisation must be an ACNC registered non-profit, based in Australia with DGR status. Auspicing is not accepted.
- Applications for the 2025-26 funding pool must be received in full by 5pm, 5th March 2026.
- Applications must meet all three core criteria and address at least one of the priority funding areas.
- Applications must be submitted online.
- Detailed budgets are required as part of the Application. Only expenses that are essential to ensuring an initiative or project can occur will be considered for funding.
Other Information:
- Access to funding is not guaranteed and applications undergo a competitive and rigorous process before being accepted.
- Only shortlisted and successful organisations will be contacted.
- We no longer accept Applications for Research Funding as we have fulfilled these ongoing commitments with Research and Educational Institutions.
