Overview
The objectives of the grant program are to fund activities that support:
- the effective management of cemeteries in regional and remote areas; and
- the protection and maintenance of declared or prospective cemeteries and burial grounds in regional and remote areas. For definitions of "declared cemetery" and "burial ground" refer to the Act.

- Applications for multiple burial areas should indicate which bids/burial areas should be given priority.
