Purpose

PLACE's scholarship program addresses barriers to accessing quality training for place-based work.

Overview

PLACE is delighted to launch its scholarship program. We invite anyone working or volunteering in placebased work who meets the eligibility criteria to apply.

PLACE's scholarship program addresses barriers to accessing quality training for place-based work - including location, cost, time commitment, and assumed skills - allowing practitioners to complete training and increase their capability for systems change.

Applicants may apply for one course only in this round. If you're interested in more than one, please select the one most relevant to your current work.

PLACE will assess applications on the following criteria:

  • Your work focuses on improving outcomes for communities that face barriers due to things like location, culture, disability, financial disadvantage, or access to services
  • Demonstrated ability to apply community-led, place-based approaches in your work
  • We will prioritise applications from the following sectors: early childhood, youth justice, employment, housing, health, human services and net zero transitions.

See the funders website for a list of eligible scholarship training.
