Purpose

The Community Wellbeing Grant is our annual application-based grant program that funds community-led charitable organizations around the globe advancing wellbeing through movement.

Overview

The funder prioritises locally led solutions that use movement to address wellbeing challenges, including physical inactivity, loneliness, and the mental health crisis.

Organisations interested in applying must first complete a registration form by July 24 at 5:00pm Pacific Time (PT). Please note that organisations that register after this date will not be eligible to apply for the 2027 grant. Applications for the 2027 grant are open from July 6 to July 31, 2026.

Organisations can apply for up to $50,000 USD, which should not exceed 40% of their most recently completed fiscal year's operating budget. If selected, the grant will be disbursed through and administered by our Donor-Advised Fund at Charities Aid Foundation America (CAFA)

Defining Wellbeing

At lululemon, our purpose is to elevate human potential by helping people feel their best. We recognize that everyone has their own unique definition of wellbeing. For some, it includes a holistic view of mind, body, and soul, while for others, it focuses on specific aspects such as having a sense of community or living in an inviting physical environment. We define wellbeing as a lifetime practice of three interconnected elements. Balancing these elements supports us in feeling our best.

  • Physical Wellbeing: Feeling empowered and able to give one's body what it needs for health and quality of life.
  • Mental Wellbeing: Feeling emotionally prepared and able to handle what the future holds.
  • Social Wellbeing: Feeling connected to others, being part of something larger than oneself, and contributing to a supportive community.
