Purpose
The Believer's Grant Program offers funding for groups or organisations working to unleash young people's creativity.
Overview
This program is designed to back projects that are either going from 0-1 (just starting or launching) or 1-10 (scaling up and experimenting).
Their scope is wide and vague because they are looking for projects that have not been done yet or are doing things differently. Blackbird Foundation want to back wild ideas that explore the intersections of creativity, technology, science, media, storytelling, culture and arts. They have a high appetite for risk, and are on the hunt for great people doing good work that creates magic.
Believers is open year-round, and EOIs and applications will close when either all funds have been disbursed or when the FY27 period ends on June 30, 2027 - whichever comes first. We review and progress EOIs on a rolling basis.
Funding: $5,000 to $10,000 plus may be available.
Eligibility
Who can apply for a Believers grant?
- Individuals, groups, organisations established in Australia and/or New Zealand
- Projects that will take place in Australia and/or New Zealand
- Projects that will be completed in 12-months
- Projects whose core focus is primarily creative outcomes
- Organisations with less than $1.5M in revenue
