Purpose

The Sustainable Giving Grant program provides multi-year funding to established or emerging programs that will achieve lasting impact and are aligned with the Foundation's core funding priorities.

Overview

Sustainable Giving Grants provide multi-year funding of $150,000 over three years ($50,000 p.a.) to charitable organisations delivering programs aligned with the Foundation's priority areas.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) may be submitted at any time and are assessed in two funding rounds each year.

Round 1 - focus on Medical Research & Health Care, and Aged Care

  • EOIs close: 6 August 2026
  • EOI outcomes advised: by late September 2026
  • Selected organisations invited to submit a Full Application (by invitation only)
  • Funding decisions advised: by mid-December 2026

Round 2 - focus on Youth Education, and Family & Community Support

  • EOIs close: 4 February 2027
  • EOI outcomes advised: by late March 2027
  • Selected organisations invited to submit a Full Application (by invitation only)
  • Funding decisions advised: by mid-June 2027

Organisations invited to submit a Full Application will receive detailed application instructions, submission requirements and key dates with their invitation.

Eligibility

To apply, organisations must:

  • Be registered with the ACNC
  • Hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1 status
  • Annual income under $10 million in the previous financial year
  • Deliver programs within Australia
