Aims to back students with different skillsets, perspectives and experiences who can add uniqueness to what Youi does.

This year's essay topic will outline why receiving this grant would be beneficial to you and why you should be considered - with a maximum word count of 1,000 words. You might wish to include details such as challenges you've overcome, contributions you plan to make, your academic and professional achievements, and the impact the grant would have for you.

The prize is offered bi-annually to one lucky winner as a single payment of AUD $5,000 in total.

To be eligible to apply for the Youi Student Grant you must:

• Be enrolled in full-time study with an accredited Australian Tertiary Institution at the date of submitting your application.
• Be studying at an undergraduate level for a certificate, diploma or degree.
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
• Be 18 years or older.
• Complete the Entry Task in the Correct Format and submit your completed application and Entry Task response, as directed in these Terms and Conditions, prior to 5:00pm AEST on Friday 27 November 2026.
