Purpose
The program supports research that contributes to the future of the global accounting profession and develops business professionals with tomorrow's capabilities.
Overview
The Global Research Perspective Program (GRPP) provides annual funding for research that supports and promotes the profession in line with CPA Australia's objects and strategic goals.
The research topics for 2026 are:
- AI, firm economics and market structure in accounting services
- Applying the Code of Ethics using AI: agent design, capabilities and limitations
- Explaining value: AI, intangibles and the future of financial reporting
Please note that there is a two stage application process for this grant.
Eligibility
Applications are open to individuals and organisations with the necessary expertise and experience to successfully carry out the proposed research. One researcher must be a current CPA member and your application must be directly relevant to the research topics.
